Parker 616 Coffee Mill
Charles
Parker Co., Meriden, Connecticut made coffee grinders as well as numerous other
articles. This mill stands about 32" high with 16" wheels. The Charles
Parker name is cast into the wheels, and the metal ID plate is a great help in
identifying this and many other mills. The paint is original and in
exceptionally good condition. There was only one decal used on this, and it is
on the reverse side opposite the ID plate. This series of mills, dating from the
closing years of the 19th-century, used a five-spoke wheel design that was later
replaced by the more commonly seen six-spoke design.
