Landers, Frary & Clark of New Britain, Connecticut used the 'Universal' name on many products -- from vacuum bottles to washing machines -- including coffee grinders. The large hopper jar is embossed with 'Universal, LF&C 24' so it is undoubtedly the correct jar. The mounting bracket is of a 'quick release' design whereby the loosening of the thumbscrew visible on the right allows the user to either invert the grinder for filling the jar, or to remove it from the wall altogether. |
