Blacksmith-made Coffee Mill
This
design dates from about 1750 - 1800. Mills of this type were made in England and
America in a variety of sizes, but all following the same general mechanical
design and general appearance. They were all hand forged and joined, not welded
or cast. Some are signed or marked with numbers, but many are not. This one is
small, with a 3-1/2" diameter hopper opening.
